Meet    Olivia

Hi, I’m Olivia, the founder and owner of Legendary K9. I was raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and I currently call this area home with my two dogs, Cooper and Midnight. My love for animals started long before I ever became a professional dog trainer. I was adopted from Eastern Europe and came to the United States when I was around 9 months old. From a young age, I was always drawn to animals. While other kids were running around, I was usually the one stopping to greet every dog I saw, wanting to learn about every animal and build a connection with them. Growing up, my parents encouraged my passion by giving me opportunities to work with and care for animals. I spent time riding horses at camp, studying different species, and learning the responsibility, patience, and dedication that comes with caring for animals. Those early experiences shaped the way I approach dog training today. My journey with dog training became even more personal through my experience training my own service dogs. My first service dog, Cooper, has been trained to perform multiple tasks that help support me in everyday life, including heart rate alerts, retrieving items, and guiding assistance. Watching him develop confidence and purpose through training deepened my passion for helping dogs and their owners build a strong, trusting relationship. I am now continuing that journey with my second dog, Midnight, who is currently training in mobility assistance and medical alert response. Training my own service dogs has given me firsthand experience with the dedication, consistency, and communication required to help dogs reach their full potential. I believe every dog has the ability to become a confident, well mannered companion when given the right guidance, structure, and communication. My goal is to help create a stronger bond between dogs and their owners by building trust, patience, and consistency. At Legendary K9, I provide professional dog training services for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. I use a thoughtful, individualized approach to help each dog and owner succeed. Whether you’re bringing home a new puppy, looking to improve obedience, working through behavioral challenges, or simply wanting to bring out the very best in your dog, I’m here to provide the guidance and tools needed for a successful partnership. With experience working with a variety of breeds and temperaments, I take pride in helping owners better understand their dogs and creating lasting results through communication, consistency, and teamwork.
